What remains when the idea of home begins to shift?
In HEIMATKÖRPER, Sascha Paar and Karl Reinisch meet across generations, biographies, and cultural landscapes. The work explores how identity is shaped by memory, language, age, movement, and the places we come from — or leave behind.

Between Austria and Germany, past and present, intimacy and distance, the stage becomes a space of shared reflection. Everyday gestures, fragments of dance history, personal memories, and quiet physical encounters unfold into a choreography of belonging.

HEIMATKÖRPER is not a search for a fixed origin, but an attempt to sense how home lives in the body — as imprint, resistance, longing, and transformation.
