Sascha is a choreographer, performer, movement director and dance educator working at the intersection of contemporary dance, performance art and intergenerational practice. His work explores identity, memory, origin and the body as a carrier of biographical, social and political inscriptions.

Rooted in physical research, Sascha’s artistic practice combines choreography with autobiographical material, participatory formats and spatial or installative settings. He creates spaces where questions of care, transmission, intimacy and vulnerability become visible through movement and presence. His works investigate how personal histories intersect with larger socio-political narratives.

Paar received his formal training at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden and worked as a dancer with various institutions, collaborating with internationally renowned choreographers.

Today, alongside developing his own stage works, he initiates participatory and community-based projects, teaches internationally and works across stage, public space and research contexts.
